Wasabina cabbage, also known as Brassica juncea var. integrifolia, Wasabina is a traditional cabbage variety originating from Japan, belonging to the cabbage group (Brassica juncea). A vegetable that is increasingly popular because of its unique slightly spicy taste and high nutritional value. This vegetable is bred from local cabbage varieties to create a leafy cabbage with a slightly spicy taste like wasabi. Cabbage has a slightly spicy taste like mustard (wasabi), not too strong, very easy to eat.

With Cuisine:

  • Eaten raw like salads, served with sushi, sashimi, sandwiches.
